Looking for California burner events

I just returned from Interfuse 2008 (the Midwest regional burn) and was told by the organizer that there are tons of burner events out here in Cali. I don't see many events posted here in this tribe, so can someone clue me in about where to find some burns out here...west of BRC? Thank you!
